This 4-day journey traverses Central Asia's dramatic landscapes, featuring UNESCO Silk Road ruins and the otherworldly Darvaza Gas Crater, alongside the marble-filled modern architecture of Ashgabat.

Border crossing followed by a desert drive with flora/fauna observations and an overnight yurt stay at the burning gas crater.

Visit the mud and water craters en route, then explore Independence Park, the Arch of Neutrality, and constitutional monuments.

City sightseeing including the Russian Bazaar and historic mosques before a domestic flight to Mary with a farewell dinner.

Tour ancient Merv's UNESCO sites including the Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum and multiple fortresses before the border crossing.
