Overview

A 5-day journey exploring Turkmenistan's most significant historical sites, including the capital Ashgabat and the ancient Silk Road hub of Merv, from the 6th century BC to the 18th century AD.

Itinerary

Expand all

Arrive in Ashgabat and explore major monuments including Independence Park, the Arch of Neutrality, and museums.

Travel 350km visiting bazaars, mosques, and medieval settlements en route to Mary.

Explore the Bronze Age Gonurdepe site, then visit Merv's five fortresses and the Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum.

Tour Mary city's cultural sites, then return to Ashgabat (350km).

Transfer to the airport for departure.
